Well all in all the year wasn't too bad. I partially worked on/finished a good chunk of my goals. December wasn't all that exciting. Finished up the semester in school and Santa got Annabelle lots of toys for Christmas (she must have been good this year). The only goal I did finish was to pay off the one credit card, which was a hold over from 2009. So that at least is done. On to 2011.

I finished the first class I ever taught and I think things went over pretty well. Other than not not much. Spent most of my free time at home with Annabelle. So for the next couple of weeks I will be a stay at home dad until school starts up again at the end of August.

Other items of interest:
Made our first family trip up to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons last month. That was rather stressfull but also a lot of fun. Don't recommend making long car rides with an 8 week old though. Working 2 jobs is rather stressfull as well but I am getting it done. Haven't been working at URS as much as I, or I bet they, like but hopefully I can get more done this month from home. And still chugging away at Earthquakes and Volcanoes. Down to the second half now. With Veronica back at work and me home more, maybe I will have more time to get my little projects done.

School is done for the semester. Got a 4.0 :-). Also had myself a kid and she is precious. A pain in the butt and a diva but still precious. I am also teaching my first real class this summer semester. Not a TA but an actual instructor this time. All in all, things are busy but mostly good.

Nothing much done really in February. Olympics were on and I got 4th overall out of 141 teams in the Fantasy Olympics. Been super busy at school as well. Hopefully March will be better.

Some work done around the house but not much. Most of the time was spent on school work or regular work and trying to get my research started. Although I did apply for my first grant ever so we will see how that turns out.

Personal Goals 2010 - First Post

So over the last few weeks I have been thinking about some goals that I wanted to do for 2010. The first few are going to be to finish off the goals from last year since they did not get finished, but I also have some more in mind. So here they are along with my current status:

1. Finish first draft of my novel - First 1/3rd first draft done
2. Drop weight to 167 - Current at 175
3. Balance our budget
a. Pay credit card - Only one card left
4. Read a total of 100 of the greatest books on my lists - Current count 86
5. Finish 2 more movies on my Geological Movie Review
a. Also update the last two I did - One done to the level I want

So all in all, not too hard I think. Problems might come up when Gummy Bear comes in April though.
